Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be 18 years or older to use Mickey Live. By using the Service you confirm that you are 18 or older and that you are not barred from using it under the laws that apply to you. We terminate accounts we find to belong to minors.

2. Your account

• Register with a valid phone number, Google account or Facebook account. Give accurate information and keep it current.
• Your account is personal to you. Do not share, sell, rent or transfer it.
• You are responsible for everything done through your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
• One person, one account, unless we agree otherwise in writing. We may remove duplicate or automated accounts.

3. Rules of conduct

While using Mickey Live you must not:

• Broadcast, post or send sexually explicit or pornographic material, nudity, or sexually suggestive conduct.
• Depict, promote or facilitate violence, self-harm, suicide, terrorism or any dangerous act.
• Harass, bully, threaten, stalk, defame or intimidate anyone, or incite others to do so.
• Post hate speech — content attacking people over race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, sex, gender identity or sexual orientation.
• Involve minors in any way, including appearing on stream, or post any content that sexualises a minor.
• Promote, sell or depict illegal drugs, weapons, counterfeit goods or other illegal products and services.
• Engage in fraud, scams, phishing, money laundering, or any deceptive request for money or gifts.
• Impersonate another person, brand or organisation, or misrepresent your affiliation.
• Post spam, run unauthorised advertising, or drive users to competing or external platforms.
• Infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, privacy or publicity rights — including streaming films, television or music you do not have the right to use.
• Share another person's private information without their consent.
• Use bots, scripts, emulators, modified clients, cheats or exploits, or otherwise interfere with the Service, its servers or its security.
• Reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract our source code, or scrape the Service.
• Manipulate rankings, levels, gifting or earnings through fake accounts, collusion or artificial activity.
• Break any law that applies to you.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of everything you broadcast, upload or post ("Your Content"). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, transmit, display and distribute Your Content solely to operate, promote and improve the Service. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies already distributed to other users and copies we must retain by law.

You confirm that you own Your Content or have all rights needed to post it, and that it does not break section 3 or anyone else's rights.

Mickey Live is a public platform. Anything you broadcast may be seen, recorded and re-shared by other users. We cannot retrieve or delete copies made by others.

5. Moderation and enforcement

We may review, moderate, restrict or remove content and accounts to enforce these Terms and protect users. Depending on severity and history we may issue a warning, remove content, mute or eject you from a room, restrict features, suspend the account, or terminate it permanently. Serious violations — especially anything involving minors, credible threats, or criminal activity — result in immediate termination and may be reported to law enforcement.

Every user can report content or users, and block any other user, from inside the app. Reports are reviewed by our moderation team. To appeal a decision, email the address in section 16 with your user ID and what happened.

6. Virtual currency

• Coins are used to send virtual gifts and buy in-app items. Diamonds represent the value hosts receive from gifts.
• All purchases and gifts are final. We do not refund coins spent on gifts or items.
• We may change prices, gift values, exchange rates and the availability of any item at any time.
• Balances are forfeited if your account is terminated for breaching these Terms, or if you delete your account.
• Selling, trading or transferring currency outside the Service is prohibited, and we may void balances obtained that way.
• We may adjust or reverse balances that resulted from a technical fault, fraud or manipulation.

7. Hosts and earnings

If you broadcast as a host, you may qualify for earnings based on the gifts you receive and on published targets for streaming time and activity.

• Hosts are independent. Nothing here creates employment, partnership or agency between you and Mickey Live.
• Earnings are calculated against the criteria published in the app at the time and are paid out on the schedule we publish.
• You are solely responsible for your own taxes and for reporting your income to the authorities where you live.
• We may withhold or cancel earnings from fake gifting, self-gifting, collusion, bought engagement, or any breach of these Terms.
• Agency arrangements, if any, are governed by a separate written agreement.

8. Our intellectual property

The Mickey Live name, logo, app, website, designs, gift animations, effects, artwork and software are owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property law. We grant you a personal, revocable, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the app for its intended purpose. You get no other rights.

9. Third-party services

The Service uses third-party technology, including Google Firebase, Google Sign-In, Facebook Login, Agora.io and LiveKit. Your use of those features is also subject to the relevant provider's terms. We are not responsible for third-party services, nor for external websites linked from the app.

10. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service running but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend or discontinue any feature at any time. We may update these Terms; the "Last updated" date reflects the current version, and for material changes we give notice in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the new Terms.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time — see Delete My Data. We may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, if we are required to by law, or if we discontinue the Service. On termination your licence ends immediately and remaining virtual currency is forfeited. Sections 4, 6, 8, 12, 13, 14 and 15 survive termination.

12. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements, be uninterrupted, secure or error-free.

Content on Mickey Live is created by users, not by us. We do not endorse it and are not responsible for it. You interact with other users at your own risk. Never send money or share financial details, identity documents or passwords with anyone you meet on the Service.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mickey Live and its owners, staff and suppliers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, nor for lost profits, lost data, lost virtual currency, lost earnings, or loss of goodwill, arising from or relating to the Service.

Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 6 months before the claim arose, or (b) 5,000 BDT.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of sections 12 and 13 may not apply to you. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

14. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mickey Live and its owners and staff from claims, damages, losses and reasonable legal costs arising from Your Content, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms or of anyone else's rights.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts of Dhaka, Bangladesh have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, except where the mandatory law of your country of residence gives you the right to bring proceedings locally.
